Katie Hagen is a versatile violist, performing with both modern and period ensembles in the Bay Area and beyond. As a baroque violist, she has performed recently with Chora Nova, the California Bach Society, MUSA, and Albany Consort, among others, and appeared in academy performances at the Oregon Bach Festival and the American Bach Soloists Festival. Katie completed undergraduate degrees in viola performance and physics at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Case Western Reserve University and a master's degree in viola performance at the Eastman School of Music. Alongside her work as a musician, Katie works as a data scientist in San Francisco.
