Marieke Furnee
received her masters degree for violin in her native country
Holland,where she also studied the viola.She toured with the Ricciotti
ensemble and was a member of the Brabants Kamerorkest and played with
the orchestra of Brabant as well as with many small baroque ensembles.
She received her baroque training from Remy Baudet,a member of the
orchestra of the 18th century. Since moving to Oregon House CA in 2001
she has been a playing with Apollo Baroque Orchestra, Camerata
California, the Chico Bach festival and the North state Symphony. At the
moment she also devotes a lot of her time to teaching.
