Cellist John Lutterman is principle cellist of the Capella Sacra,
Salzburg, and has performed with the American Bach Soloists,
Philharmonia Baroque, Magnificat, Jubilate and the Archangelli Strings.
He holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the State University of
New York at Stony Brook, as well as the Master of Music degree from the
Mannes College of Music.Mr. Lutterman has served on the faculty of
Lawrence University, the Wisconsin Conservatory, the Knox School, the
University of the Pacific, and SUNY Stony Brook. He is currently a
candidate for the Ph.D. in musicology at UC Davis, where has also served
as lecturer, and is in the process of finishing his dissertation on the
relation between composition and improvisation in the music of J. S.
Bach. |
