Support Sacramento Baroque Soloists
on May 5 at the BIG Day of Giving

Were you a part of the BIG Day of Giving last year?  If so, you made history in our region by making a small but significant donation to the nonprofit sector.  Together we raised over $3M as a region and ranked #2 in the country on that national giving day!
GiveLocalNow, under the leadership of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation, along with many partners, is gearing up for the region’s 2nd annual BIG Day of Giving, a 24-hour giving challenge that will launch at midnight on May 5th.

Mark Your Calendar
By donating to us online on May 5, 100% of your donation will go to Sacramento Baroque Soloists, and in addition will receive a boost from a pool of matching funds. Our region’s collective goal for the nonprofit sector will be $5M in 24 hours from 25,000 donors for 500 nonprofits, and to end the day by being the 1st in the nation for most money raised on May 5th, this year’s national giving day!

Help Us Meet our Goal
Last year we had a terrific response--over $5000 in donations from over 60 donors to Sacramento Baroque Soloists on the Big Day of Giving. Our goal this year is to surpass last year's response in both amount raised and number of donors.

Why Give?
Your donation on May 6 will help to fund our 2015-16 season, including subscription concerts, school concerts, and recordings. Sacramento Baroque Soloists is Sacramento's own professional baroque music group, performing a subscription concert series in three venues in the region. Audience members leave these intimate concerts feeling moved and inspired. Your continuing support makes this possible.

How Can You Give?
On May 5th, starting at 12:00am midnight, visit www.bigdayofgiving.org and make a gift as little as $25. You will have 24 hours to make your donation, and all giving will end at 11:59pm on May 5th.

How else can you help? Online giving challenges like these are successful because of our own networks. Please pay it forward by sending this email to your network and ask your friends to do the same.
Thank you for your support!

I'm looking forward to attending your concert at St. Paul's. This will be the third year in a row I've enjoyed celebrating the upcoming solstice with your gorgeous music.

We have been attending your concerts since you came to the Harris Center (Three Stages). We really like what you do, the group and each individual are amazing performers. We are looking forward to next season but if you happen to have a summer concert in the area, please let us know. I will mention our view of your group to Dave Pier, the Executive Director of the Harris Center because we certainly want you to be invited back. Also, Ms Dicce at last night's concert was beyond amazing. She has, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful soprano voices (in a phrase "achingly pure") we have ever heard, and we have heard many fine sopranos. We hope you can induce her to come back next year. Thanks!

The March 10th concert was fantastic. And Lisa, the program notes were outstanding. I hope to attend your next program series. Keep up the great work.

Where have you been the last 9 years? How did I not know you are here? Most excellent concert tonight, the Concerti Grossi. I will definitely hear you again!
